From the beginning of December 2003, Ash Vale Health Centre will no longer be running Saturday surgeries. Instead, all calls will be handled by Frimley Primary Care Services Ltd, the  Blackwater Valley GP  co-operative.

There is now an option of what level of advice you can receive out of hours. The first number you will be given is that of NHS Direct. This is a nurse run 24 hour help line. If you think you will just need advice or are not sure who to call then please call NHS Direct first.

An answer phone will give you the correct number to ring for assistance. Frimley Primary Care Services is our new out of hours provider. This is based at Frimley Park Hospital and is run by the GP's in the area and is wholly staffed by us. The staff at the base will arrange for any appropriate medical advice or treatment. There is a dedicated Primary Care Centre at Frimley Park Hospital where patients can be seen out of hours, or home visits can be arranged if necessary.
